Standby Policy

The Theatre Mir box office information line at 312-458-9855 ext. 3 will be updated daily on sold-out performances. If a performance is sold out, we do have a stand by policy. Starting one hour prior to a sold-out performance, the Box Office Manager will begin a waiting list. At curtain time, in the event of last-minute cancellations or no-shows, and at the discretion of the Box Office and House Managers, seats may be release and sold to those on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot take waiting list names over the phone; you must arrive in person to sign up. We cannot guarantee that seats will become available, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Group Rates

Groups of ten or more can reserve tickets by calling Mira Vasiljevic, Audience Development Director, at 312-458-9855 ext. 2. A 50% deposit is required at the time of the reservation; the balance is due seven days before the performance to guarantee your reservation. Cash, check, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. If you would like to schedule a post-show discussion with the cast, you must do this in advance of the performance. We recommend these for Sunday matinee performances only.
