Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Mira Vasiljevic began acting at the age of 6 and has performed in over 30 plays. She has a BA from the University of Alaska Anchorage and an MFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. While Mira is mainly an actor, she is also a playwright. Her short works have twice won the Outstanding Ten-Minute Play Award at the Edward Albee Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska. Mira also has extensive experience in children's theatre, both as a teacher and a director. Outside the world of theatre, Mira has a strong background in history and political science. She is very excited to be working with Theatre Mir.
